February 21, 2007

Rev. John Garrett and his wife opened their home to a group of Christians for
bible study and prayer.

 February 25, 2007

From a Floyd Road parking lot Rev. Garrett consoled and offered words
of encouragement to a host of believers whom vowed, “We Are Family”! 
A motor convoy was led to a neighboring church (Bethel Church of the
Nazarene) where the pastor and waiting congregation received us.

 March 14, 2007

We became known as Cornerstone of Faith Missionary Church.

 May 6, 2007

Held our first service at the Quality Inn Conference Center, Gainesville, Ga.
The Lord ’s Supper was administered.

 June 10, 2007

Signed a six month contract to hold Sunday services at the Gainesville Civic Center.

 October 2007

Gainesville Civic Center extends contract another 6 months.

 November 4, 2007

First baptism held during Family and Friends Day held at Bethel Church of
the Nazarene.

 April 27, 2008

Held last worship service at Gainesville Civic Center.

 May 4, 2008

Held first service in current location. (2920 Florence Dr., Gainesville)
